    Ship Recycling Certifications and Standards

    Ship Recycling Certifications and Standards – Ship Recycling is a necessary act for ships that cause environmental degradation problems. To prevent environmental harm, the internal council for Shipbreaking made it compulsory to have Ship Recycling Certifications and Standards.

    Ship Recycling Certifications and Standards

    It is noted that every ship after 31 December 2018 must have the green flag of Ready for Recycling Certificate (RfRC). The recycling facilities offered by the ship recycling and shipbreaking companies are required to have a spot in the European List of Ship Recycling Facilities.

    The certificate is offered in there parts IHM Part 1, IHM Part 2, and IHM Part 3

    IHM Part 1

    • Material Declarations (MDs)
    • Suppliers’ Declaration of Conformity (SDOC)
